Our Event Policy for all CHICAGO TASTING CLUBS:
*Please always bring your confirmation print-out when checking-in at our will-call location on the event date.

We will need to verify your purchase(s) with the print-out to avoid any possible problems, etc. when in questioned. Without your print-out confirmation you could be denied entry or charged (cash fee) again to gain entry. The door staff has final say on entry and fee associated with entry to an event.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NOT TRANSFERABLE TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO REFUNDS. NO EXCHANGES.

YOU CAN SELL (RESALE) YOUR TICKET IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND AN EVENT BUT NEED TO PROVIDE US NOTICE OF YOUR REPLACEMENT ATTENDEE SINCE WE PROVIDE A WILL-CALL FORMAT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SALES YOU CONDUCT FOR YOUR TICKET(S). WE CANNOT SELL YOUR TICKET FOR YOU NOR CAN WE ASSIST YOU IN GETTING A REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR TICKET.

MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO ATTEND. EVENT ATTENDEE WHEN PURCHASING A TICKET THROUGH PAY PAL, TIX, RESALE OR DOOR SALES, ASSUMES ALL RISKS AND DANGER INCIDENTAL TO THE EVENT FOR WHICH THEY ARE ATTENDING, WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING OR AFTER THE EVENT. EVENT ATTENDEE VOLUNTARILY AGREES THAT THE MANAGEMENT, FACILITY, LEAGUE, PARTICIPANTS, PARTICIPATING CLUBS, WINDY CITY PRODUCTIONS, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, CLUBS, OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE EXPRESSLY RELEASED BY EVENT ATTENDEE FROM ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM SUCH CAUSES.

Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the event purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management/staff to be disorderly or who fails to comply with these or any other management/staff rules. Breach of any of the foregoing will automatically terminate this license. NO REFUNDS. NO EXCHANGES EXCEPT AS AUTHORIZED BY THE SELLER OF THE EVENT OR AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EVENT DATE, COST & TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

The event purchase is a revocable license and admission may be refused at any time for any reason, subject to applicable law.

The Chicago Wine Council:
The Chicago Wine Council, meets monthly, assisting the Clubs listed to the left with best practices and venue selections. We are about wine education without the high brow approach or stress.

It was 1999 when the Council was formed to bring the Wine Curious and Wine Educated together.

The Council guides the various Chicago Clubs on the proper methods of wine tastings events and advises on what wines are to be presented to all Members and Guests.

The Council plays a significant role in keeping the events positive and rewarding to all involved.

All Tasting Clubs must maintain a FREE Membership and we only ask Members and Friends to attend our Monthly Events to support us in our continued efforts to keep you informed and educated about wines available to you.

Under our Council management, Chicago residents, who are "Wine Educated" and "Wine Curious" have an opportunity to taste great unique wines besides some of our favorites, in a non-snob fashion with education provided at every event.

Simply, we do not sell wine but we do taste wines for the benefit of all!

Typical cost for tasting events, is $40 plus. Tastings happen at venues located in and around Chicago.

Tasting events last 3 hours includes 25 plus wines, light appetizers and our approved Chicago Wine Council Wine Diary.

We always require of our Clubs to sell an advance ticket on-line (credit cards) and we will attempt to sell tickets at the Door (cash only) the night of the event but the price is $10 higher and entry is not guaranteed. We will not "over-sell" our events out of respect for the attendee's who have bought in advance.

CWS NEWS, will inform you when the next tasting occurs besides wine news in and around Chicago with "specials" created by our Clubs.
